Inggo Noms...

Since our craving for raw fish wasn’t sated from the last time we went out, beloved and I decided to try out Sushi-Ya today. We always see this store open at the wee hours in the night when we get hungry and pass by the McDonald’s at Tomas Morato. We always get scared to try it out because we’re unsure if raw fish would still be fresh in the said hours of the night. We’re also unsure if they’re really open. When we got in, we saw that their service hours run until 4:30 AM on Mondays to Saturdays.

For lunch today, beloved and I went to Kozui Green Tea. We planned to go to the newly-opened Bubble Tea at Tomas Morato, but we soon found out that they were still on a dry run. Since we didn’t want to risk anything, in particular not being able to get the 1Php-for-every-50Php-rebate we invested on, we decided to walk towards Omakase and go to a place we somehow fancy on the way. Kozui happened to be one of those places, featuring healthy green tea infused drinks and foodstuffs.

Beloved and I went to Omakase today. Yes, again. The reason basically was we were craving for their rolls. Also, ever since we ate there, the only thought in mind was we had to go back here. So we did. When we got there, the place was full, and there was a waiting queue for those wanting to eat there. Even then, we still waited just to eat there. This just shows how good the place is.

Beloved and I had dinner at Omakase tonight. We don’t know of this resto, and just Googled it up with Tomas Morato restaurants. This was the second top rated entry at the “I’m feeling lucky” site, so we decided to go there for the heck of it… or maybe after looking through the menu and seeing cold noodles there and beloved was craving for it. Anyway…

Today, our company ate at Grilled Tomato—a somewhat hidden Mediterranean restaurant in the middle of Tomas Morato. Me and beloved have been searching for this store for quite a while, but have never found it even though we practically travel the road all the time. It has a black and white sign, so it doesn’t really stand out.
